What inspires you to compete?
My father started me off in this sport. I immediately made it my way of life. I excluded myself from all other sports growing up in order to allow myself plenty of dedication towards my riding. After a few years my father pulled out and cut off all financial and mental support. I then had to put everything into it. From that point on I continued to ride my hardest to prove to both my father and myself that I can compete and excell at the national level.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
During a hot lap at a national event I slid out in a corner directly infront of a big grandstand.
Why do you like this sport?
Over the years I have made the motocross atmosphere my way of life. I love the independence that the motocross world requires. The physical and mental challenges that this sport brings out are far greater than any other sport I have ever participated in.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I work full time as an electrician at Tracy Electric. Three evenings a week I work out by doing cardiovascular activities (running cycling and lifting). Two evenings a week I spend riding (practicing) and preparing the bike for the race weekend. I race nearly every weekend at either a local, regional, or national event.
Employment / Experience Summary
