Well the day started out raining real bad here in PA. It was looking like it was going to be a muddy day for the second round of the District 6 hare scramble series. We packed up the quads and we headed out for the 2.5 hour drive.
When we arrived we where please to see that it didnt look like it rained at all on the track. It was actually alittle dusty. We arrived with about an hour to get the quads prepped and get dressed for our race. It was a pretty good turnout for the 2nd round here in PA.
Sitting on the line I was wondering how this start was going to be. I got a good spot and was waiting for the flag to drop. When the flag dropped my adrenaline was going and I didnt even realize that I was in first going into the first turn. I had finnaly done it I finnaly got the holeshot. I led the first lap but then had 2 peple in my class catch me and make the pass. I was able to get one position back and keep it for the next 6 laps.
When I got done I had my first spot on the podium. I was very excited. I cant wait for the 26th and the 3rd round at Evansville MX in PA. Check out the video on the front page of the holeshot.

Well this season started out alittle rocky. The first race of the year was at Evansville PA for ditrict 6. This was a great event and was put together great and ran really smotthly. I got there with the Quadbuilder crew and met up with Howie from Pompton Honda in NJ. This was the first event I would be racing for team Pompton and the bike looked great with the graphics. We got to the event with little time to spare and just made sign up.
I decided to race novice and this woud turn out to be a race to remeber. When it came time to race it was apparent that the novice class was the way to go. With 46 people lineing up I knew this was going to be a blast. The race started and with mud from 6 to 12 inches deep the start was a adventure. We started off the bikes (a different thing forme) and one jump and a kick and we where off. With the start going down hill with a sharp left then back up again this is where things got interesting. With a bottle neck that was 40 deep this was the firsthurdle of the race.
After finally getting out of all the mess we where off and runing. Not getting a good start and crashing in the woods this turned out to be a good practice as I ended up in 36 place for the season opener. Not where I wanted to be but gives me something to shoot for next race. This was a great proactice race and a great way to start the season.I want to thank Pompton Honda and Evansville for a great race. Some other people I would like to thank are Scott for the great works system that I was using and EVS for the goves and gear that kept me dry.

So 2009 is here and t is going to be a great year. I have already started training and look forward to this upcoming season and the challenges I will face. This year I am moving up to B class and plan on racing 2 different series. There will be about 20 Cross country races and 3 motocross races in total. My training is going well with cardio 3 times a week and weight training 3 with one day to rest. I have been riding as much as I can but the weather has been really bad so far.
The season is looking good and I am hoping to break into the top 5 this year in B. I know it willbe hard but I have faith and know that I can do it. I have received alot of support from some great companies for 2009 and I look forward to spreading there great names at all the events I attend and making them proud. Thanks everyone for all your support and I look forward to seeing or hearing from you in this upcomng year.
