Q&A - Self Interview
How did you first get into BMX?
I remember when I was about 11 years old and my family took me out to get a new bike. I came accrose this Haro X3, and thats when I decided I wanted to BMX.
How did you decide that you wanted to ride dirt?
I decided to ride dirt because I thought it would be a little easier to start with becuase it didnt seem like it wasnt as hard as vurt or flatland, but I learned that you had to keep a steady rythem to be able to keep going fast so you can hit the jumps just perfect.
What bike do you think your going to get next?
Its a tough one to answer because I have been looking at two really great bikes. Right now I am leaning towards a Fit bike, the TRL3 2009, but if they dont have any in stock then I will probably get the Felt Fuse 2010.
Q&A - Personal
Why do you like this sport?
I like BMX because its a thrill rising adrenaline rush. When i ride dirt, it feels like I'm weightless going up and down the jumps. Its also a dangerous sport and i tend to go for the more dangerous sports becuase you have to be careful on how far you push yourself and what could happen if you dont hit it right.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I train as often as i can, mostly on the weekends. I usually ride up to the trails which is about a 3 mile ride and then I ride the trails for as much time as I have, and then i ride back. I also workout as much as i can more fit and stay in shape.
Employment / Experience Summary
Right now I am currently unemployed, but I'm 14, I have a reason. As soon as i turn 15 or 16, Im going to plan on working at a bike shop like Lee's or Pelaton.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a pro BMX rider for Dirt, freestyle, vurt, and flatland. I am dedicated and willing to do as much as i can to reach my goal. After that I would probably want to stay with BMX somehow, maybe making and designing the trails at the X-games or something on the lines of that.
Describe your style...
It all depends on what your asking. If your asking how my life style is, I would probably say laid back, chill, riding, and having a good time.
