Jeremy Sall 679

My name is Jeremy Sall and I am a senior at Western Michigan University.  I will be graduating in spring 2009 with a bachelors of science in Mechanical Engineering, and minors in mathematics and business.
My life has revolved around motocross since I was 10.  While in high school I raced regularly at Red Bud MX, Log Road MX and Big Air MX.  In 2002 I won the 125jr championship at Big Air MX.  Also, in 2003 I qualified for the regional qualifier of Loretta Lynn’s in the 125B class.  However, due to an injury in practice I was unable to race.
While in college I have had limited time to race.  However, I have kept my skills by riding on weekends and training in the gym regularly.  Also, as opposed to the "normal" college spring break, my friends and I have gone on riding trips in Georgia and Alabama to keep and improve our skills.
Since it’s my last year in college I have set goals for the year 2009, and have made a training regime to achieve them.  It has always been one of my dreams to make it to Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National.  In 2009 I want to qualify in Open B, and either the four stroke class or 14-24 aboard my 2008 Yamaha YZ450f.  I also want to finish top 3 in the AMA District 14 points in the Open B class.  I will achieve this by racing at Red Bud MX, Log Road MX and other AMA D-14 sanctioned races.
I feel that I am a great candidate for sponsorship because I am a very dedicated individual with a great attitude. When I set goals I do everything possible to reach them. I have made it through engineering school with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and 4 years of internship experience. I feel that this shows my dedication and perseverance. And Lastly I feel I can represent your company in a positive way by showing my dedication, winning attitude, and great racing skills.
 Goals for 2009

  • Follow 18-step training regime to attain the following goals
  • Qualify and attend Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National in Open B, 14-24, or 4 stroke

  • Travel to Georgia and Alabama on spring break to improve skills before LL area qualifier
